PROJECT MANAGER

As a result of our tremendous growth, we are adding a full-time contract-based project manager to our team.

Your Role as a Project Manager: 

The Project Manager will work within our vibrant and collaborative client services team building a true partnership with our clients, coordinating strategic, creative, and digital teams to develop and manage the planning and execution of multiple projects simultaneously.

Your job will be to ensure that projects are completed to the highest standard. At SFC Group this means precise, high-quality, and innovative solutions that are delivered on time, on-brief and on-budget for our clients.

This position is entirely remote, though some occasional travel to team or client meetings may be required. This position reports to the Client Services lead.

A Project Manager at SFC Group:

  • Ensures smooth management of projects end to end, from concepting to project roll-out, with ownership of timelines, financial reporting, resourcing, and client facing communications
  • Serves as the primary contact for projects within the agency, maintaining awareness of status, next steps, and challenges at all times
  • Optimizes work of cross-functional project teams through close working relationships and strong communication
  • Operates proactively to ensure all stakeholders are engaged and all project phases are completed efficiently, on time and on budget
  • Takes initiative in learning/understanding each client’s products and services, culture/ethos and strategic marketing and positioning strategy
  • Possesses exceptional interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
  • Leverages excellent communication skills that can be individually adapted to get the best out of all stakeholders – internal or external
  • Writes clear and detailed project documentation including statements of work, estimates, change orders and creative briefs
  • Develops project plans/timelines
  • Recognizes the need for adherence to process while also possessing the flexibility to adapt to changes along the way
  • Resolves challenging project issues with a collaborative, solutions-focused approach, while maintaining a positive outlook
  • Manages third party vendor contributions to projects

You are:

  • Familiar with healthcare agency work and workflows including project initiation, requirements gathering, budgeting, project tracking and reporting, and quality assurance
  • A motivated self-starter who can work autonomously yet still lead a virtual team to success
  • Passionate about organization
  • Excited about being part of an entrepreneurial-spirited, nimble, virtual agency

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience and healthcare marketing experience (e.g. pharma, diagnostics, medical devices, direct-to-physician, etc.) and knowledge of the regulatory process
  • Adept at using project management processes, tools and software; knowledge of Workamajig and Veeva platforms a plus
  • Project management qualifications strongly preferred, PMP desired
  • Must be creative, innovative and proactive
  • Must have experience independently managing projects
  • Able to work extended hours when work volumes/tight deadlines
  • Must be able to confidently and professionally communicate with clients and internal stakeholders

SENIOR ART DIRECTOR

As a result of our tremendous growth, we are adding a full-time contract-based Art Director to our team.

Your Role as Art Director:

As a freelance Senior Art Director, you will be responsible for the conception, design, and execution of innovative visual materials for integrated, cross-channel initiatives including traditional and digital initiatives. You should possess strong conceptual and design skills and assist the team in improving the conceptual, technical, and creative performance of our clients’ projects as well as understand the process by which a project moves from concept and rough layout, through tight comps, client comments, medical/regulatory submission, to a finished produced piece. The freelance Senior Art Director upholds the agency’s core beliefs and is responsible for delivering best-in-class work. Must be collaborative, passionate, creative, and support diversity and inclusion efforts.

This position is entirely remote, though some occasional travel to team or client meetings may be required. This position reports to the Client Services lead.

A Senior Art Director at SFC Group:

  • Adheres to creative briefs and take direction with attention to detail, asking any questions necessary for clarification and follow through on all assignments
  • Delivers strategically sound communications by understanding how strategy informs creative development
  • Is able and willing to immerse in complex content, understand that content and its role in a given communication, and provide executional solutions to the challenge
  • Develops a range of creative concepts and designs for each project, partnering with copywriters to ensure that the art direction and visual presentation support the concept 
  • Communicates visual designs, motion design, concepts, and storyboards through presentations to secure client approval of recommended designs 
  • Inspires the team, juggle multiple projects simultaneously, and work closely with account team
  • Researches and recommends suitable illustration, photography, and sound
  • Delivers creative in a timely fashion to meet set deadlines

You are:

  • Highly organized with the ability to plan and prioritize effectively
  • Capable of troubleshooting challenges by demonstrating creative problem solving
  • Able to develop a working knowledge of clients’ business by reading clinical studies and trade publications
  • Fluent in advertising fundamentals, including positioning, branding, and principles of good creative
  • A solid oral and written communicator
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable recommending ways to improve work processes and efficiencies

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Five to ten years in advertising; pharmaceutical/healthcare experience required, pharmaceutical agency experience desired
  • Art direction experience and formal design training with exceptional conceptual and design skills
  • Overall understanding of web design and the capabilities within digital channels is essential
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with creation and presentation of scientific tables and statistical data

SENIOR HEALTHCARE COPYWRITER

As a result of our tremendous growth, we are adding a full-time contract-based Senior Copy Writer to our team.

Your Role as Senior Copywriter:

You will balance creativity with common sense as a professional communicator capable of grasping challenges and devising imaginative, on-brand solutions. You will work closely with an art partner to create compelling advertising for both domestic and global clients and with other disciplines within the agency to stay on brief, on strategy, and on budget. You will collaborate to determine concept and copy direction, and interact with project teams to understand business objectives and audience demographics, translating concepts into effective messaging. You will also be called upon to contribute to brainstorming and creative brief development, support proprietary processes, and effectively present and sell agency recommendations.

This position is entirely remote, though some occasional travel to team or client meetings may be required. This position reports to the Client Services lead.

A Senior Copy Writer at SFC Group:

  • Develops concepts with Art Director partner that resolve marketing problems in a fresh, unique, and original way while supporting and building the client’s brand
  • Works closely with Art Director to ensure copy tone and style are consistent with visual tone and style
  • Translates creative direction and copy points from creative briefs into engaging and effective copy concepts
  • Presents ideas clearly, concisely, and effectively; verbalize the thoughts behind the idea and be able to relate them back to the communications objective
  • Is proactive in gaining a solid understanding of each client’s product, business, and customers
  • Demonstrates the ability to handle increasing independence and responsibilities and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
  • Works on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Works with team members across departments to ensure constant communication on projects
  • Develops proper presentation skills for client-facing projects

You are:

  • Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including the ability to write in a range of voices and styles for a diverse group of clients
  • Capable of troubleshooting challenges by demonstrating creative problem solving

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

SFC Group is looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in all things social and should always be up to date on the latest ways of communicating. You will mainly be responsible for the complete social media management for SFC Group and our clients. This would include working closely with the SFC marketing team on everything from content creation, copywriting, calendar management, active posting across all channels (Instagram, FB, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.), live posting as needed, interacting with followers and more. We want someone who can join our team seamlessly and create a unique, consistent and interesting voice for our clients across all of their social platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Own the development of the social media strategy and maintain key social media channels
  • Work collaboratively to curate and generate content that encourages engagement and drives awareness
  • Proactively develop and propose new ideas and concepts for social media content
  • Prepare and manage a communications calendar and execute and manage all posts across platforms
  • Own monthly social reporting to highlight top performing content, audience growth and brand health
  • Monitor evolving social media trends and best practices for continuous improvement

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years’ experience in social media management
  • Comfortable self-motivating, taking ownership, and delivering results at a fast pace
  • Creative, with the ability to think innovatively regarding messaging opportunities and generate a reliable supply of original ideas, visual concepts, and more
  • Able to promote one clear, consistent voice and tone across all platforms
  • Excellent writing, editing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of SEO is a plus!
